Spring Lighting Trends

Spring is such a wonderful time of year. From sunny mornings to blooming flowers, there is so much to love about the season – especially the events! Springtime gatherings are often designed to be light and airy, with playful colors and lots of overflowing floral arrangements. What better way to complement these beautiful accents than with some high-quality event lighting?

Here are some lighting trends that we expect to see this season.

A whimsical affair

Spring is a time for whimsy and there is no better choice than LED fairy lights when it comes to creating a fun and quirky atmosphere. String them up through tree branches, wrap them around columns or weave them into the centerpieces – the possibilities are endless! Better yet, incorporate them throughout the event space in different ways to maximize the twinkle.

Industrial vibes

All things angular are ‘in’ this year, and that goes for event lighting as well. Geometric chandeliers are a major hit, but clients don’t necessarily need to splurge for the industrial feel. Metallic vessels like votive holders and candelabras can add an extra special touch to any tablescape – bonus points for candleholders in geometric shapes!

All white, everything

With greenery taking the events industry by storm (both the Pantone color and the florist’s favorite garland!), it makes sense that all-white décor has made a comeback. The marriage of white linens, pillar candles and flowers with the organic hues of greenery is a truly breathtaking look and will certainly be showing up more over this spring season.

"Even though spring events often bring to mind a vision of bright and airy details, that’s not to say that a client has to sacrifice coziness for their dream spring event."

Keep it cozy

Even though spring events often bring to mind a vision of bright and airy details, that’s not to say that a client has to sacrifice coziness for their dream spring event. Pairing light colors with warm candles is a great way to pair the two aesthetics. The soft flickering of the candle will create a welcoming atmosphere for all, while the spring hues will capture the seasonal theme.

As the spring season blossoms, now is the time of year to embrace new beginnings! Start by thinking outside of the box for event lighting design – your clients won’t be disappointed.
